Cranial nerves and it's origin:

Olfactory(1)-->Telencephalon

Optic(2)-->Diencephalon

Oculomotor(3)-->Anterior aspect of midbrain

Trochlear(4)-->Dorsal aspect of midbrain

Trigeminal(5)-->Pons

Abducens(6)-->Anterior margin of pons

Facial(7)-->Pons (cerebellopontine angle) above olive

Acoustic or Vestibulocochlear (or auditory-vestibular nerve or acoustic nerve(8)-->Lateral to CN VII (cerebellopontine angle)

Glossopharyngeal(9)-->Medulla

Vagus(10)-->Posterolateral sulcus of medulla

Accessory (or cranial accessory nerve or spinal accessory nerve)(11)-->Cranial and Spinal Roots

Hypoglossal(12)-->Medulla
